Whether is was fully written or just the initials, the racist graffiti was a common appearance on walls, doors or any other surface during the 1970's. For immigrants it was a show of racism and fascism that made them feel alienated as a community and as individuals. 

Attributes go to Neil Kenlock MBE, who photographed this photo in 1972, printed 2010 on display at Tate Britain, now forming the part of Eric and Louise Franck London Collection.
