When Asian band Cornershop took on institutional cultural racism. 

In 1992, the British indie group Cornershop protested against The Smiths’ frontman, Morrissey, during a controversy over alleged racism. Formed in 1991, the band consisted of vocalist Tjinder Singh, his brother Avtar Singh, drummer David Chambers, and guitarist Ben Ayres, and later became known for their hit single Brimful of Asha.
